Miktlan 27. Dir. Yolanda Mar
In the summer of 2024 I had the oportunity to work in art direction. I worked as the art director and storyboard artist for a short film titled ´Miktlán 27´.
We follow a young woman trapped in her subconscious, if she wishes to get out she will have to make peace with all her demons and have a sit down dinner.
The script lent itself to fabricate a world rich in texture. Our challenge was materializing our protagonist´s mental state. Working with director Yolanda Martínez was a illuminating experience as we developed the visual rythm from the script unto the storyboard.
